In the first half of 2018, we executed a complete delivery of a wooden load-bearing structure for the new Ayurveda Medicine Pavilion at the St. Kateřina Resort, designed by the architect Jakub Tejkl. The skeletal load-bearing structure is interesting because it was installed on stones (menhirs), 1 to 2 metres high, and also thanks to the atypical shapes of the columns that have “+”, “T” and “L”- shaped ground plans. The columns were manufactured in the workshop and installed on the construction site. All the structural elements were machined on the Hundegger K2i CNC woodworking centre. The total volume of the entire used timber amounted to about 340 m3.
